Mother's Day 2012

I have so much to be thankful for as a mother this year.  My two boys are doing so good and I adore them dearly.  In a few short weeks we will be welcoming our little girl and our family will be complete.  God has been so good to Jeremy and I and I count my blessings every day.  We had a great Mother's Day this year.  We went to church and ate at Gloria's for lunch then the boys and Jeremy went fishing that evening while I stayed home...my kind of evening!  They got me some great perfume that I've been wanting and I love it.  It was a great easy going day for the most part.

Fishing for the First Time

Jax and Jake got fishing poles for their birthday so we decided to try them out with Honey and Papa before Mother's Day.  We went down to the lake in their neighborhood and had dinner and did some fishing.  Jake just enjoyed being outsided where he could run all over the place and be free.  He attempted to fish a little but doesn't quite have the patients yet.  Jax on the other hand did awesome.  He was casting the pole within a few minutes of learing what to do and ofcourse threw a fit when we had to leave.  He loved it!!  We had a great night with Honey and Papa and can't wait to go back.  Here are some great pictures.

Jax and Jakes 2012 Birthday Party

This year, we decided to do a joint birthday party for the boys since Mom is 8 months pregnant. Jake just turned 2 on April 9th and Jax will be 4 on May 27. We had the party at Pump it Up and I couldn't have been happier. They had a great time with family and a few friends from school. I wasn't too happy with the cake but other than that, they had a great time and got a bunch of new toys that have kept them very busy! Here are some pictures from the event. Enjoy!

Bluebonnets 2012

I finally attempted to have some bluebonnet pictures made with the boys. I found a spot in between Midlothian and Mansfield that didn't have too many weeds. The flowers were bothering Jax's eyes. I kept seeing tears and he wasn't crying...poor thing. Jake was on a ball so he at least let me take one of him by himself. Here are a few. At least we tried. Better luck next year!

Easter 2012

We had a great Easter weekend this year. Jake turned 2 and we enjoyed Easter with our family. We went to First Baptist Dallas for church and then headed to Grandmother's house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt with my side of the family. After that, we went to Grumpa and Grammy's house and enjoyed some time with them and Grandma. After that, we finished the evening with a little time at Gigi's house.

The boys got tons of candy and the Easter bunny came to visit them at the house with more candy and gifts. We had a great day. We were so full of candy, no one ate dinner and we all slept great. Enjoy our pictures.

Happy Birthday Jake Ryan

Jake Ryan Jackson turns 2 on April 9th. We had a little dinner with my family the other night and celebrated. We are doing a big joint birthday party for both boys in May but wanted to acknowledge his bday this weekend. Jeremy smoked some awesome ribs and I picked up a quick cake while I grocery shopped Friday(I stuck my finger through the nose before Jake saw it). Jake loved the cake and enjoyed everyone singing to him. So cute. Happy Birthday Jake. I look forward to many more with you!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

We finally made it to one of Jeremy's games this weekend. They had a makeup game against Midlothian that didn't exactly go in our favor but it was still nice to take the boys and see half the family too! The boys had fun watching daddy coach. I got a great picture of Jax trying to talk to Jeremy through the fence while he was coaching. Jax came back to me and said "Daddy told me hi"....greatness! After the game was over, the boys got to run on the field with the other coach's kid, Gavin. They had a good time playing with him as well because he brought so many toys. We had a fun time. Always fun to see Jeremy in action! Enjoy the pics!
