Father's Day 09

What a nice day we had with all our families. We started off the day with some pictures of Jax and Jeremy, breakfast and gifts. I tricked Jeremy by giving him his new shirt and later getting Jax dressed so he had no idea they were going to look a like....so cute.

Jeremy got some new patio chairs, a shirt and a baseball mug that I broke sunday morning as I was getting it out of its bag. As soon as I dropped it, Jax said "uh oh" it was so funny. Super glue is an amazing thing!

We went to church with Jeremy's dad and Jana and then had lunch with them as well. After our nap, we headed off to my parents house for dinner and some swimming. My grandparents were there as well and we all had a great time.

Jax got to play with the little kitchen I grew up with at my parents house. It was so cute - had to get a picture.

I had taken this last picture the previous week. Jeremy's mom gave Jax this pool for his birthday. Unfortunately, this is the only picture you will ever see of it though. When you have 3 dogs in the backyard that love water, inflatable pools aren't the way to go :( but Jax enjoyed it anyways and its one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken!
Well, that's about it for the week. Jeremy is now enjoying the stay at home dad life as I've picked up a extra day at work for the summer. He tell me everyday what they do - math in the morning and english in the afternoon...I keep telling him "he's only one, its ok that he can't say the complete alphabet right now" Jax is picking up on Jeremy's teachings very well though....they are so cute and I love that they are getting to spend more time together this summer.
As for me, I'm walking around with a limp at the moment. I had a pre cancerous mole removed and then more tissue and junk removed this last week on my knee. I can't bend it and have 7 stitches so its a bit painful and not fun to stand on at work. I'll live though.
Have to give a shout out to Lindsey and Matt Flesher - she's expecting her first baby in January and we are so excited for them to join the parenting circle. Congrats to them and we look forward to another diva baby! Until next week, We'll keep you posted!
