What we do

This is kind of a random blog.  I use to do a blog for each individual event...when I had 1 child.  I ain't got time for that anymore so this is what you get!!
I've got pictures of the kids making halloween cookies that I got from Kroger.  I have a few pictures of Lola learning to sew with me.  She even pressed the pedal and pushed the material through.
I have other pictures of eating lunch with the boys at school.  They love when Lola and I come eat with them.
My dad got another award at lodge and my mom wanted all of us there...so we went.
Lola had cowboy day at school and I got a cute pic in her boots and dress and what do I want to be when I grow up day - Angelena Ballerina.
Lola had parent watch day at dance so Deann and I went to that and got a few pictures.  After that, we met grandmother for lunch and got a picture of that too.
Lastly, Jax had to make a musical instrument for school and we all got in on the action and made guitars for everyone....well I made guitars for everyone.  Duck tape has great uses!
So there is my random post.  Enjoy the pics

Homecoming 2015

Another small town homecoming in Midlothian yet its getting bigger.  We now have 2 high schools and 2 middle schools so the parade took an hour and a half instead of the usual hour this year.  We also made it to 1 football game and lasted to half time.  The kids were nuts but atleast we went.  I got some pictures of the parade with Deann's crew and then a couple of pictures at the game.  I have one other random picture in with this blog - from my birthday with all the kids.  I love that pic!

Fall Ball...Blah

We put both boys on one team for Fall Baseball this year.  It was something new for Jake since he had only played t ball.  They played modified baseball.  3 pitches and then they could hit off the t if they hadn't gotten it by then.  The boys did great...the team was a different story.  The team only beat 1 team the whole season and it was a team of girls.  What a mess.  A bunch of boys that had clearly never played before and I'm pretty sure one had some other issues as well.  It was a mess.  Jax and Jake didn't even want to play after a few games because the team couldn't win.  We told them it was good practice. I got some pictures of the season and at the end of the season when they got there medals.  Glad that's over!!

Fossil Rim and Dinasaur Valley

A few of my friends have been taking their kids to Fossil Rim lately.....I went when I was a kid and thought it would be fun to take the kids.  So we skipped church one Sunday and off we went.  The animals would stick their heads in the car to get the food.  A few of them let the kids pet them.  It was fun seeing the wild animals up close and personal.  We then headed down the street to Dinasaur Valley.  The kids played around the rocks and water and then we had a picnic lunch.  We saw a few fossils/dinasaur tracks but I think they could care less. Anyways, it was a fun day!
