Merry Christmas 2014

Another year has gone by and soon I will be taking down all the Christmas decor that slathers my house at the moment....but right now, I am enjoying all the pictures that were taken at all our Christmas festivities this year.  We started off with my mom's family at our house on sunday the 14th then on to Gigi's house the next sunday.  Grandma Jackson's house on Christmas Eve followed by seeing what Santa brought and on to Honey and Pappa's house Christmas Day.  What fun times.  All Jake wanted was a ninja turtle watch and skate board and those 2 gifts were some of the last ones he got...thought he was going to lose his mind! Jax got a lot of legos, a new bike and an xbox from Gigi.  Miss Lola got my old dollhouse...renevated by Pappa along with plenty of minny mouse, playdough and barbie stuff.  Another year with grandma's that we cherish and cousins galore.  We made some cookies along the way and enjoyed plenty of hugs and laughter with family.  We are thankful for everyone and look forward to another great year! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

ICE at The Gaylord

I've waited year after year to go to the ice at the gaylord.  Wondering if my kids were old enough to enjoy it...we finally did it and we will never go back!!! We went on a monday so there weren't many people there.  Lola had had a cold but I bundled her up and off we went.  After paying $80 we went into the coldest room I have ever been in.  My face was hurting it was so cold.  The jackets they gave us didn't fit Lola and I could tell she was pretty miserable.  The boys went down some ice slides and the place was decorated with frosty the snowman.  Jake kept getting on a really slow slide...so funny!
They wouldn't let Lola slide either.  Then Jeremy decided to go to the bathroom and left us.  I was so cold that we went on through and little did we know there was only about 5 minutes left until we were out.....I was pissed.  $80 for about 15 minutes of misery!  We went and ate after we left and warmed up.  The kids seemed to be ok with it.  The only good we walked away with was a great Santa picture.  This is the first year that no one cried.  Lola walked right up to Santa and told him she wanted Barbie.  Very sweet Santa!
