Six Flags with the boys

We took the boys to Six Flags for the first time during spring break.  We had a blast with them.  They did so awesome.  Jake was at the perfect height to ride most of the rollercoasters that we wanted to do.  Since they had never been, they didn't know what they were getting on.  We held onto Jake so tight many times - through the mine train especially.  I was worried he was going to fall out.  We got the boys super hero capes and I got a great pictures that makes Jax look like he is flying. They kept telling us they wanted to drive the cars and we didn't do that until the second to last ride but they loved them.  We went on a wednesday and it was pretty dead.  It had been windy that morning and I guess people didn't want to go.  We were able to park up front and get on and off rides easily.  We didn't go until the aftertoon so we stayed until 9:30.  At about 9:15 we got on our last ride, pandemoneum.  It was a rollercoaster that spun in circles and went up and down hills really fast.  None of us had ever been on it so we had no idea. Jax was really tired and quite moody at this point.  We got on and after it started, they were both screaming and all we could do was laugh.  It was crazy.  We went and got them some candy and headed home.  They were asleep so fast.  What a great memory!!

Fort Worth Science and History Museum

We took all 3 kids to the Fort Worth Science and History Museum on a day that Jeremy was off.  We had a fun time.  We sat through a 40min video on the omni screen.  Lola did great..Jake on the otherhand, doesn't know how to sit still longer than about 15min.  So funny.  We went through all the kid stuff and they played so hard.  Its a pretty cool place.

My Lola Bug

Here's another random posting with some Lola pictures over the last couple of months.  The first couple are at my mom's house.  She gave me some old dress up stuff from my great grandmother and other people.  Lola had fun with the hat, gloves and gold purse.  Its kind of blurry but you get the idea.  I also have a picture of her playing in her hello kitty car.  I just turn the wheel and she goes in circles and loves it. I also have one of Lola eating ramon noodles.  That is the one thing I craved when I was pregnant with her and I think its funny that she loves them so much - the few times I fix them that is.  Lola likes to sit on the edge of the dish washer when we do the dishes...one day I fear she will break it....until then...  I also got a couple of her and Jake playing at the dino park in cedar hill. They love going over there when we go shopping.  The other one is of one of our trips to grandmother's house.  They like to ride on her walker when we go to the car.  So funny

Being Sweet

I take many random pictures of the kids here and there.  I've gotten a handful lately of all of them together or one of the boys being so sweet with their sister.  I had to share.  A couple are coming and going from church where they are holding Lola's hand.  I just love those.  I also got a great one of the front steps of our house.  Probably one of my favorites.  It was such a great weather day and we had so much fun in the yard....loving the new house still.  Perfect place for the kids to grow up!

Skating to begin the year

While we had some time off over the holiday break, we took the boys out for a day of fun.  We started at the mall and rode the cariousel  and had lunch and goofed around for a bit.  Then we went on to Arlington skatium and roller skated and played some games.  I didn't take my camera but I got some pics on my phone.  We wore the boys out at the skating rink.  It was fun watching them learn how to skate but they didn't last long....me either!  Fun way to start our new year before they went back to school.

Fort Worth Zoo trip with our Monkeys

We took the kids to the Fort Worth Zoo on Martin Luther King day since Jeremy was off.  It was quite the experience with all 3.  Lola is at a stage where she thinks she can do what the boys do.  She didn't want to be in the stroller and the boys were their usual rowdy self in public.  Jeremy loved all the stares we got.  We still had a great time seeing all the animals and playing around.  Here are some pictures.
