Let the Games Begin

Now that Jeremy is not coaching anymore, our kids finally get to play sports.  We are so excited to be starting soccer with the boys this year.  We went and bought cleats, soccer ball, shin guards and socks.  Jeremy was dying to try it all out so we headed to the soccer fields.  It was fun to watch the boys play..pretty good I thought.  They also did a little fighting...ok, maybe a lot.  So Jeremy had to teach them a little about the game.  It was quite entertaining.  Lola was the side line cheerleader. She really just enjoyed walking all over the fields since its all new to her.  When we got done, we went and got sno cones at this great little place in midlothian and then went and showed the boys new duds off to Gigi.  We had a great evening and cant wait to get started with the season!

Ellen's Fairway

Jeremy and I took the kids to Ellen's Fairway one Sunday night.  We had such a great time with them.  It's funny to think I went there as a little kid and now here I am again....gee!  Not much has changed...go carts, batting cages, arcades, and golf.  We had fun on the go carts.  Jeremy and I took both boys in the double cars.  They loved it.  Jax wanted to know when he could drive...oh wow!  We also played some arcade games.  After we left Ellen's, Jeremy had to go put some stuff in the bbq trailer at the camp so we stopped for some ice cream in the kitchen.  What a great end to our night....all over their faces...ice cream.  Yummy!  Enjoy the pictures.

Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

I finally took the kids to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.  I hear about it all the time and how kid friendly it is.  We had a great time.  There was a water play station outside and building blocks along with a dino dig but it was really hot so we didn't stay outside too long.  Inside is a kids zone with plenty of trains, a grocery area, doctor area and a great area for Lola's size.  We also saw some dinosaur bones, learned about energy and ate a great lunch.  We didn't do the planetarium or watch the movie...not brave enough to do that on my own yet but we had a great time and the kids didn't want to leave....but this mom was wiped out!  Till next time!
