School begins again....for 2!

Its that time of year again - school begins for Jax and Jake this year.  I tried to do a lot of fun things during the summer.  We ended with a water park trip and a trip to the bounce house requested by Jax.  We also had meet the teacher.  Jax got Joy Cowen for 2nd and Jake got Rohanna Nanny for kinder.  I was very excited about both of them!  Jake was a little nervous that day and asked if I was going to leave him....I didn't like that one bit! I'm having a hard time with my baby boy going to kinder!

First day of school finally arrived and I sent Lola off to Honey's house.  She gave the boys and hug and out the door she went super early. Everything went pretty smoothly except for my breakdown the night before while making lunches.....not ready for Jake to leave!!  I took the boys to school.  We dropped off Jax first and gave his teacher some yummy cookies.  I was walking down the hall to Jake's class and thought I was going to lose it.  I think I hugged him about 5 times before I finally let go.  DeAnn showed up and calmed me down a bit.  He sat down and begin coloring and was just fine.  Much better!!  He had done great so far. 

I picked them up after school and we headed to DQ for treats.  They had a great day!

Roman comes to town

We had a fun end of the summer visit from Katy, Nathan and Roman before Roman's new sister was to arrive.  The kids got to do a lot of fun things and had a great time other than the beatings Lola took from Roman a few times.  She survived!  Here are some great pictures of the cousins!

Dallas Zoo

I took the kids to the Dallas Zoo while they were having Jurrassic world week at the zoo.  It was cool to see all the moving and talking dinos along with all the other stuff we usually see.  We love feeding the giraffes and playing in the water. Good times
