Midlothian Pumpkin Patch 2012
Honey and Papa took my 3 kids and I to the midlothian pumpkin patch one night. Honey wanted to decorate some pumpkins on Saturday while she kept my kids for a few hours so we went and picked some out. The kids had fun playing around the pumpkins. We got a few pictures too. Enjoy

Arboretum 2012
We had a great time at the Arboretum this year with Wanissa and her kids. This year actually felt like we had things more under control...probably because they are getting older thank goodness. It was a beautiful day and the kids enjoyed each other. The arboretum has an event going on right now with glass artwork so I took a picture of some of it as well...very unique. I've included plenty of pictures...enjoy

Lola Ruth at 3 months
Lola is getting so big so quick. She is such a good baby and very happy for the most part. She is starting to sleep longer. Usually from 8:30-4 or 5 before she wants to eat...love it! She holds her head up well and loves to talk and laugh. She really likes to talk in the car...she does have an audience on both sides of her so I'm sure that's fun for her. Jax is really good with her. I have to constantly remind him to get out of her face. She's had a few constipation issues which I never experienced with the boys but I think I finally get it! Each child presents a new problem I guess :) I love to take her pictures and dressing her up is so fun. Here are some pictures at 3 months
A few family photos
I've taken a few pictures lately of the kids and don't want to do individual posts nor do I have time to do so...so here we go
Here is one of all three. I had put Lola under her playgym and the boys decided they needed to be in there with her. So cute. They are both really good with her and she thinks they are funny.
This is a picture of the boys on their first day of mother's day out 2012. It was a very hectic day dealing with all 3 in the morning. Lola is staying at home with Grandma Jackson and I take the boys to school before I go to work. I dropped Jake off first and he screamed and cried...not good. Jax on the other hand is an old pro now. He walked right in and sat down. He was acting a little shy but told me bye and joined right in. This is Jax's last year before kindergarden. I'm attempting to teach him to read right now....patience please!
These were taken at Aunt D's house last night. I just like taking pictures of all 3 and they were being good. The first one - I requested "cheese"....I obviously got it. Jax is 4, Jake is 2 and Lola is 3 months
I finally got the fall decor out for 2012. The boys love getting the scarcrows out. We finally had to throw the third one in the trash. He was worn out! They are always a big help getting all the flowers out too. Why is it so difficult to get boys to smile on cue :(

Lola at 2 months
I have not written in a while....been a little busy. Lets just say life with 3 kids is a little different or hectic. A client of mine told me it feels like you are always on the move with 3...she's right! I love it though and wouldn't change a thing!
Lola is now 2 months old and growing like crazy. At her 2 month check up she weighed 12.3 lbs at 81% and 22.5 in at 63%. She jumped from 65 to 81 in weight and from 32 to 63% in height. The doctor told me whatever I was doing....I'm doing it right. Good to hear! She's a very happy baby and pretty easy going. She eats well and sleeps well. She wakes up usually once a night. Eats every 2 1/2 hours during the day though...I guess she is storing up from a great night sleep. She also eats and goes right back to sleep....so nice! In the morning she smiles and coos. Takes 3 good naps a day with a few shorter ones still occassionally. She is so fun! I love having a daughter. Her brothers are so good with her. They kiss and love on her all the time. Jax calls her Lola Ruth and Jake occassionally pokes her in the eye but she doesn't seem to mind.

Had to post another picture of the boys along with this blog. I have to preface this....I'm breastfeeding as I did with both boys. The boys are very aware of what I'm doing and have asked many questions. The pumping is the most confusing. I caught Jax when we went on vacation in our bedroom attempting to pump. I walked in and asked what he was doing....he said "getting milk" Oh dear! So they demonstrated for me and I took some extra pictures. Until next time!

Galveston Vacation
We decided at the last minute to go down to Galveston for a long weekend with the kids. I rented a beach house for Thursday through Sunday on Crystal Beach for the five of us. We had a great time overall. Its never easy going on vacation with 3 little ones but it was fun to see them have fun at the beach for the first time. After a long ride in the car, we got to our nice little house. It sat about 4 rows off the beach. We took the boys and Lola down to the beach Thursday night and got some great pictures of the boys getting in the water for the first time, enjoying their first wave and running up and down the beach. They loved it. There were some guys catching bait and the boys enjoyed watching that and got a peek into their bait bucket.
We played on the beach for 3 days. Jax even met a little friend one day and had some fun. We were able to rig up an umbrella for some shade in the back of the truck and even Lola got to enjoy the beach. We went into Galveston 2 nights and had dinner and drove around a bit. Jax had some memorable moments too...
The first night in the water, Jax didn't even ask - he just pulled down his pants and peed right in the water. I have never laughed so hard. It was one of those moments I'll never forget. Thank goodness no one was watching or around.
.....the second night that we went into Galveston for dinner we ate at a Mexican food restaurant. Our first waiter was a little different and as he walked away Jax said "He's so weird" The things your kids say!
.....That same night, another guys who was quite short and small brought us some chips and Jax out of no where said "Hey little man" I kept my composure until he walked off. Thank goodness he didn't speak a lick of English...geez.
We had a great weekend and were glad to get home. I start back to work this week so it was one last hooray for the summer. Enjoy our pictures!
