Thanksgiving Week

Thanksgiving is always interesting with our families.  We always have a handful of places to go.  I decided to add to the drama this year and make DeAnn and I run the Dallas Turkey Trot the morning of Thanksgiving.  I'm so glad I did it!  It was a 5k and we did great.  Pretty decent weather for it and we finished. 

From the race, we headed on to Bonham for lunch with the kearney family.  There were a lot of people there so we ate and pretty much left after a couple of hours.  We got home in time for me to head to walmart and do a little Christmas shopping thank goodness. 

On Black Friday, we went to Edgewood to see Jeremy's mom's side of the family.  The kids love going out there.  Buddy Ryan kept the kids entertained and the girls got to go do a little shopping. 

Over the weekend, we decorated the house for Christmas.  Jax dressed up as Santa and Jake dressed up as peter pan for some odd reason...lol.  We decorated gingerbread houses and had some relaxing time at home.  Hope you enjoy the pics!

Halloween Week 2015

What a busy week for the Jackson family!  The boys both had their school parties that Lola and I attended, Lola had her dance party, we went to FBC Dallas on Friday night for their carnival, my salon all dressed up, and we went trick or treating Saturday night.  We were so beat, we didn't go to church on Sunday.  We had a great time doing everything this year.  We did a star wars theme except at church and the kids dressed up as a pirate, ghostbuster and wonderwoman that night.  I also had to practice on lola's buns before her depute so we got some pictures with her lovely hair extensions in.  She loved those!  Trick or treating was fun until Jake got spooked by one of my clients....got a great pic of that.  What a great time.  Enjoy the pics!

What we do

This is kind of a random blog.  I use to do a blog for each individual event...when I had 1 child.  I ain't got time for that anymore so this is what you get!!
I've got pictures of the kids making halloween cookies that I got from Kroger.  I have a few pictures of Lola learning to sew with me.  She even pressed the pedal and pushed the material through. 
I have other pictures of eating lunch with the boys at school.  They love when Lola and I come eat with them. 
My dad got another award at lodge and my mom wanted all of us there...so we went.
Lola had cowboy day at school and I got a cute pic in her boots and dress and what do I want to be when I grow up day - Angelena Ballerina.
Lola had parent watch day at dance so Deann and I went to that and got a few pictures.  After that, we met grandmother for lunch and got a picture of that too.
Lastly, Jax had to make a musical instrument for school and we all got in on the action and made guitars for everyone....well I made guitars for everyone.  Duck tape has great uses!
