Yes, I know my child is not smiling but this was the millionth picture I took and he was done with me. I've got some more below. Jax is three months old as of yesterday. He's getting so big and growing in so many ways. He's rolling over a little more now, holding toys and putting them in his mouth, loves his entertainment center and plays more with the toys around it, and is now pretty much sleeping through the night....yehhhhh! I got 9 hours last night - I couldn't believe it.
We're going to get pictures made today in his cute little ralph lauren outfit.
I took this picture at the beginning of the week. It was his first time to really hold a toy in his hand - it went straight for the mouth.
At night, while I'm getting ready for bed, Jeremy usually holds Jax in bed for some dad time....aren't they cute. Last night, I didn't take pictures but I walked out of the bathroom and my son had been stripped down to his diaper. I asked what was going on and Jeremy told me they were hanging out in their underwear...that's what boys do. Jax was smiling and having a good ol time with dad.
Well, that's about it for now. We'll keep you posted!

Mona and more
My poor dog mona.....before Jax got here, she was the star of the house. She always got her way and was very loved. Now, poor thing stays outside all day and sleeps on the couch at night. She's basically been shoved to the side as Jeremy pointed out the second week Jax was here. So I've been trying to incorporate her more and make sure she's still loved. Unfortunately sometimes its still hard and she lets me know. Last night, I heard a noise coming from the living room and there was mona with one of Jax's toys in her mouth - a dog that talks and sings songs....Mona loves it. She also loves his pacifiers as well. Well, anyways I think Mona and Jax will be great friends one day. So I'm already trying to make it happen. Pictures: before Jax and then after Jax.
Aren't they cute!
Funny story - I put Jax in his jumper and he was going to town....playing so hard. I left the room for a minute and noticed the sound stopped. When I came back in, he was fast asleep. He wore himself out.....this is the best toy ever! What a great way to start a nap :)
Well, not much else going on right now. Jeremy is back in school so we don't see him until about 9pm every night due to wonderful football but we'll get through it. Jax and I can't wait to go to a game! Till then, we'll keep you posted!

Fun New Toy for Jax and a cold to go along with it
I've been all excited to get this new entertainment center. I did my research, looked at reviews and finally went and bought this thing. I couldn't wait to put him in it. He's just seemed bored lately with what we have and needed some new entertainment and a way to stretch his legs. He loves to stand up and bounce when you're holding him. Anyways, I get it home and what does Jax want to do.....sleep. My poor little man has his first cold. Nothing to really worry about but clear congestion. I'm having to use that nasal aspirator and he hates it of course. He woke up every 3 hours last night and that wasn't fun either. I feel so bad because there's nothing I can really do but let it run its coarse.
Anyways, he was finally in a good enough mood to enjoy his new toy for a while. He really liked all the action with the lights and animals. When he gets old enough to do so, he can spin in this chair too and enjoy the toys all the way around. He's already bouncing a bit....it's so cute!
Love the serious look - concentrating so hard. He looks like his father in this picture!
Hi Mom.....I love my new toy

Getting to know Mona
Its finally happened...Jax and Mona have truly discovered each other. Please don't be frightened by the second picture no child or dog were hurt :)
Jax follows Mona with his eyes now and during this photo session, decided to have a conversation with Mona. Mona in turn felt the need to get a little closer to the action. I went to take this next picture and as I did, Mona gave Jax a full face lick. And of course, Jax's little mouth was wide open. If you didn't know any better, you'd think Mona was eating Jax. Mona has been very good around the baby - very calm and listens to me when I say get back thank goodness. I just can't wait till Jax is truly picking on Mona....fun times ahead!
More bath time photos. He's always so alert at bath time and talks and flirts with mom. We always have a great time!
This last picture was taken on the way to First Baptist Dallas this last Sunday. Jeremy and I decided to go downtown for church and Jax got to visit their wonderful nursery...he loved it. Anyways, I got him a mirror that lights up and plays music and he was enjoying it during this photo. My little man is getting so big! Well, that's it for now, we'll keep you posted.
Talking to Jesus
The first few times he did this, I didn't think anything of it but now its just getting funny. Every morning around 7 or 7:30, I feed Jax in this chair in our living room. It sits under a cross on our wall that has a mirror in it. Anyways, when I get done feeding Jax, I lay him on his boppy to chill for a bit. He looks up at that cross every day and smiles at it and talks to it like they are just best friends. It's too high for him to see himself in it but I guess he can see the light bouncing off of it. So now I just ask him if he's talking to Jesus and having his morning quiet time before the day gets going. Its just down
right precious!
